Unit 66 — Quantifiers: Much, Many, A Lot Of, Few, Little, Some, Any

En esta unidad aprenderás a usar los quantifiers (cuantificadores) para hablar sobre cantidades en inglés, tanto en contextos contables como incontables. Much y little se usan con sustantivos incontables (There isn’t much fuel left — No queda mucho combustible), mientras que many y few se usan con sustantivos contables (There are few life jackets on board — Hay pocos chalecos salvavidas a bordo). A lot of, some, y any funcionan con ambos tipos de sustantivos y son útiles para describir cantidades generales y hacer preguntas o afirmaciones.

Aprenderás a identificar cuándo usar cada cuantificador para hablar de suministros, recursos y elementos a bordo. Usarás frases como There are many containers on deck (Hay muchos contenedores en cubierta), We have little time before departure (Tenemos poco tiempo antes de la salida), There is a lot of cargo to unload (Hay mucha carga por descargar) y Are there any issues with the engine? (¿Hay algún problema con el motor?), mejorando tu habilidad para comunicar cantidades y disponibilidad en inglés marítimo.
